
Anglican Church of Rwanda Butare Diocese
Butare Diocese is one of the 13 Dioceses of the Anglican Church of Rwanda and it has 139 local churches which are organized in 32 parishes. It operates in three administrative districts of the Southern Province of Rwanda; Huye, Gisagara, and Nyanza district. The diocesan service falls under various departments such as Evangelism and discipleship, Mothers Union, Fathers’ Union, Education, Community transformation programs/projects and Finance. We also have small business projects to support the mission of the church. We have partnership with various organizations primarily for spiritual and socio-economic transformation. These partners include Compassion International Rwanda, United Evangelical Mission, Community Bible Study International, Christian Hope Internal and Hope international.
